Overview
Carat20 series is a high performancemanageable Gigabit industrial Ethernet switch. 24 Copper ports for the general demand and 2 expansion slot provide 100/1000FX Fiber or Gigabituplink to the server in order to fulfill the demand ofdistance andbandwidth. It is ideally suited for connecting Ethernet enabled industrial equipment such as PLC, Industrial PC, Ethernet I/O, DCS, and Data Acquisition Equipment.
Advanced Network Management
Carat20series supports Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), Command Line Interface (CLI), Web network management, and TELNET, so that equipment management becomes more convenient. It can also be configured with Ethernet Management features such as Port Trunk, and Port Mirror. To optimize network traffic, network administrators can segment ports into different VLANs, or filter multicast traffic by IGMP Snooping. Carat20 series can inspect IEEE 802.1p CoS tags information to provide a consistent classification of the entire network. Bandwidth can be managed by port rate control to avoid abnormal broadcast storm. To enhance security, port access can be limited to pre-defined IP address table.
