Carat55B series are managed18-port or 20-port or 22-port Industrial Ring Redundant Ethernet switches. Carat55B series fully complies with IEEE802.3 standard, and support full speed non-blocking 100M/1000M store-forwarding. Carat55B series provide 16/18*10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports and 4/2*100Base-FX ports, 2 gigabit SFP to be configured as backbone "Supreme-Ring" connection. Carat55B series are equipped with high strength wrinkle frame shell, which could provide a satisfied a high ability to spread heat. The no-fan design prevents dust and reduces the down time due to the fan fault. It provides IP40 protection with a working temperature ranging from -40℃ to 85℃.
Advanced Management Capability
Carat55B series use store-forward switching technique with a max learning ability of 8000 addresses. SNMP agent and Web Management have been embedded in the switch; online status of each port is shown in web page. To optimize network traffic, network administrators can segment ports into different VLANs, or filter multicast traffic by IGMP Snooping.
Carat55B series can inspect IEEE 802.1p CoS tags information to provide a consistent classification of the entire network. Bandwidth can be managed by port rate control to avoid abnormal broadcast storm. To enhance security, port access can be limited to pre-defined IP address table.
