Pt36 series Layer 3 Modular Gigabit Industrial Ethernet Switch delivers high performance, multiplayer, Gigabit and Fast Ethernet switching in an integrated chassis platform .It adopts Cross-bar switching framework and has capacity of 64GbpsBack Pressure Bandwidth. It provides 8 slots and could be configured as a maximum of 14 Gigabit Ethernet ports or 56 100Mbps Ethernet ports.
The Pt36 series is designed in a modular basis and has been divided into different modules based on the functionality unit .The entire chassis is horizontally inserted and has a total capacity of 8 slots within 3U height and 19 width spaces. Each module works independently and the same module has the same interface. It could be easily configured based on the network needs.
Switching crossbar
Switching crossbar is the switching centre for Pt36 series which adopts self addressing crossbar switching technique where layer2 & layer3 switching could be transferred to each physical port. The CPM module is consisted of back plane with a bandwidth capacity of 960Gbps, switching capacity of 32Gbps.
Control management module
Control management module is the core controlling module for Pt36 series with L2&L3 protocol, L2&L3 control, TCP/IP stack, software routing, and operation maintenance and network management functionalities. It is made up of CPM board with device redundancy capability.
