30th January, the live competition and award ceremony of the second China Innovation Challenge was hold in BeiJing. Transcend participated in this event with two shortlisted innovative intelligent transportation solutions.

　　This competition is aimed at addressing the technological needs of companies and focus on the difficulties of technological Innovation in State-Owned enterprises. During the competition, 46 SOE raised 184 requirements from different industry domains (such as urban management and operation guarantee, high-end equipment manufacturing, etc), and until 19th January, a total of 249 solutions were collected from more than 20 prefectures and more than 10 foreign countries.

　　This challenge event was conducted according to "one theme, two focuses, four forms, nine special events". Through the field activities, 39 demand units conducted competitive docking negotiations with 58 challenging parties. Finally, 7 groups of projects are successfully docked, and through this event their economic benefit was estimated to be 150 million yuan. 6 categories of awards including the best challenger award, the outstanding challenger award, the most practical value award, the industry development contribution award, Industry Development Promotion Award and Outstanding organizational Unit award were selected and given to different companies.

　　The cold weather couldn’t stop people’s passions, in order to join the event, the representatives of companies and the conference organizers came to the second floor of YuLong hotel in the very early of the morning, exchange their needs and their solutions. As a challenger, Transcend participated in a key special session (closed-door talks)—competitive docking of livelihood needs, and exchanged with the demand side--Beijing Expressway Traffic Engineering Company. Transcend showed a perfect performance in one-site defense and technical exchange by providing appropriate solutions for Beijing Expressway to meet their innovation demand and current progress of two Technical difficulties in Intelligent Transportation

　　Besides providing solutions, Transcend has also introduced their advanced products to their demand side,Experts on the spot believe that the enterprises of both sides have resonance and the needs are in line with each other. They agree with and recognize the investment and prospect of Transcend in innovative technology. This activity has laid a good foundation for further exchanges and cooperation between the two sides.

　　In the afternoon of the open challenge site tournament and awards ceremony, the organizers awarded Transcend the most the most practicality prize.

　　Under the guidance of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the challenge was jointly hosted by the Torch High-Tech Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and organized by the Beijing Technology Exchange Promotion Center. The competition used individualized design and carried out pioneering exploration according to the actual situation of Beijing, highlighting the feature of "crowd sourcing" and the role of gathering resources around demand, allocating resources. It emphasizing meeting the demand, encouraging companies to focus on the key points of innovation, mobilize and integrate all kinds of resources, aiming at improving the ability of government innovation service, and make beneficial exploration for the supply-side structural reform.
